Ace Africa Kenya is a community-based non-governmental organization dedicated to providing support for people affected by HIV/AIDS and other vulnerable groups throughout rural communities throughout Kenya. Ace Africa works in mixed urban and rural communities, with a particular focus on resource poor areas of Kenya and Tanzania. Their efforts to strengthen community members’ skills, existing structures, civil society partners and administration to increase their ability and commitment to take responsibility for the care and support of people living with HIV and AIDS, their children and families, orphans and vulnerable children have been awarded with the 2010 Africa and Middle East winner of the STARS Foundation Award and STARS Impact Award in 2014 for excellence in implementing community health projects.
